We stayed at the hotel/hostel in jan/feb 2008 and we had the most amazing time there! The locacation is perfect! The staff are cool, down to earth, happy and gives you the best customer service! You can always sit around in the lobby and have a blast with the other guesst from all over the world! We highly recommend this hotel and when we return we will chose the ocean hotel again! thanks for a nice 2 weeks in miami and say hi to everyone from us! Nichlas & Kristoffer from Denmark ;)

I have stay several times at the Ocean Hotel-Hostel. I absolutely love staying there. The staff are nice and eager for it's visitor's to enjoy there vacation. The location is fabulous! You are just minutes from the beach in the heart of South Beach. You are also 1 block away from the famous "Mango's resturant-club and of course, Ocean Drive! You can't beat that! Also, when you want to relax and take a short break from other activites, The Ocean Hotel provides various activites of their own, geared towards relaxation. The Ocean Hotel is a multi-diverse environment. I have met people from various parts of the world and the people are very friendly. I enjoy meeting people from other countries and exchanging culture and idea's that I normally would not have the opportunity to do. I highly recommend you check The Ocean Hotel out. It is definately worth your while.

I have stayed in several hostels around the world, but the Miami Beach International hostel is one of a kind! Apart from being nestled in the perfect location only 2 blocks from the beach and main strip on Ocean drive, it also has a wonderfully welcoming vibe.
The staff is simply amazing. (Koki & Arturo especially went out of their way to ensure I had the best experience). Such friendly, helpful, smiling faces that go out of their way to make sure your stay is fantastic. They organize "field trips" to various night clubs that allow you to save a few bucks while meeting fellow hostel guests. I met so many amazing people from around the world in the lobby alone, which is so conducive to meeting others. They even offer complementary meals throughout the day! It just doesn't get any better than that!
